Ms Usha Nattala is a Data Specialist at the Melbourne Data Analytics Platform. She completed her Bachelor of Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai and Master of Computing (Computer Science) from the National University of Singapore, and worked internationally across a range of industries before taking on a research-intensive role at the University of Melbourne.

Ms Nattala has nearly two decades of expertise in designing and building operational data analysis systems for industry and research. Specialising in machine learning, geospatial analytics, application development, data modelling and visualisation, and math-intensive programming, she worked with Dr Lampugnani to co-develop Australia’s first operational pollen forecasting system.
